Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) is a Wisconsin Medicaid behavioral-health program, offered under contract with Milwaukee County, that supports people living with mental-health and substance-use conditions. Our division, MHH CCS Ancillary, provides these services close to home.
What CCS is
CCS is a recovery-focused program built around the whole person. It's guided by four dimensions of wellness — home, health, purpose, and community — and care is directed by the person themselves, alongside a supportive team. The goal is stability, skills, and a life that feels meaningful.
Who CCS is for
CCS may be a fit for adults and youth who are living with a mental-health or substance-use condition and could benefit from ongoing, coordinated support to manage daily life and work toward recovery goals.
What CCS can include
- Individual skill development and enhancement — building everyday coping and living skills
- Peer support — connection with others who understand the recovery journey
- Physical health monitoring and medication management support
- Coordination that ties the pieces of care together
